Glue or staple this strip of paper across one end of the lantern this will be the handle of the lantern. This will be the future handle. Seal edges on both ends with tape optional. Best of all they are so quick and easy that you can get the kids involved in making them.
With a pencil lightly draw a line one inch down from the top of the paper.
